Penny grew up in Vancouver, British Columbia in Canada, earning a Bachelors of Science in Business from Simon Fraser University before moving to Las Vegas in 1998. Currently she holds Cosmetology degrees in both British Columbia and Nevada.

After moving into the Las Vegas area, Penny worked at various salons on the strip before opening Cielo Salon and Spa in 2002 in Henderson. It was the opening of this salon which ultimately catapulted Penny into the spotlight. Her reputation as an incubator of quality stylists and staff became synonymous with the Cielo name. After 25 years of working in salons, Penny has received extensive training with exclusive salon product manufacturers, Bumble & Bumble, AG Products, Goldwell Color, and Unite Hair Care. It is the niche training that takes her styling techniques, and those of the people she teaches, to the next level.

She even helps young stylists at Cielo by offering a program by AG and Goldwell Hair products. Passing down the experiences that she has gained has helped make Penny, and Cielo Salon and Spa staff, one of unsurpassed reputation in Henderson or Las Vegas.

With 25 plus years of experience in salons, Penny has seen it all. You can find her on the floor working with clients or in the salon working with her team to ensure you receive the best cosmetology service possible.
